Voor scream fans is deze film niet zo goed te noemen. Een nostalgisch gevoel komt naar boven met het zien van Sidney, Gale en Dewie, maar het besef dat Scream een tiener reeks is ook aanwezig.

Wes Craven zijn kijk op het hedendaagse slashing moorden is wel niet slecht. Uitvoer van de plot kon gewoon beter.
Het filmen van de ghostface moorden, het feit dat je de tel niet kon bijhouden van de aantal slachtoffers en de guest appearance van Anna Paquin maken dit film net aanvaardbaar.

Jammer genoeg is het einde teleurstellend.. Misschien toch niet het meest ideale idee om je night in te plannen.
